21世纪以来随着信息交流愈加频繁,交流所用的手段和媒介也日趋多元化。影视作品在国与国之间的文化交流层面起到不可估量的作用。为了引进来自不同文化语言背景下的影视作品,使目的语国家更多的了解异域文化,翻译成了必不可少的一道中心环节,决定着影视作品能否顺利在目的语国家流通并被国家所接受。采用翻译适应选择论为理论框架,以英国热播的电视剧新福尔摩斯的字幕翻译为例,详细分析影视作品翻译过程中的生态环境、译者的地位以及翻译策略的选择。

With the more frequent information communication since 21 century,the method and media of communication is diversifying.Film works play an important role in terms of communication between different countries and cultures.In order to import many film works from various culture and linguistic backgrounds and get people in target language countries know more about exotic cultures,translation of subtitles is an indispensable process and factor deciding whether the film works can be accepted and spread in target language country.Based on the frame work of translation as adaptation and selection,using the translation of subtitles in BBC TV serials New Sherlock Holmes as an example,this paper analyzes the ecological environment,the subjectivity of the translator and the selection of different translation strategies.
