菏泽学院学报

现代大学及高等教育制度起源于西方,其滥觞甚至可追溯到被称为"古典时期"的古希腊—罗马时代。那时人们有组织、规模化的高等教育探索和实践,初步形成了一系列高等教育的思想和理论,给我们留下了许多宝贵的文化遗产。从分析这一时期的文化、哲学思想和高等教育活动入手,指出它们之间的联系,并对其后世影响进行了评析。

Modern universities and higher education system originated in the West,which even can be traced back to ancient Greece-Roman era known as the "classical period".At that time with their practicing and exploring,people have initially formed a series of thoughts and theories on higher education.We also got a lot of valuable cultural heritage.This paper,by analyzing on culture,philosophy and activities of higher education at that period,points out the relationship between them,and comments their influence on later ages.
