荀子系统总结了先秦儒家各个学派的成就,构建了自己一套完整的诗学理论。荀子规范了"诗言志"概念的内涵,剔除了其中的情感因素,将儒家对理想人格的追求纳入到这一理论中,是春秋时期的赋诗言志说发展到汉代儒家诗教理论的中间环节。他不仅提高了《诗经》的地位,而且在讨论《诗经》时将礼贯穿其中,认为学习《诗经》是为了认识并实践礼。荀子引《诗》主要是为其礼义学说服务,是先秦儒家将《诗经》政治化的典型代表。
Abstract:Xunzi systematically summarized all the Confucian Scchools during the Pre-Qin period and constructed a complete poetic theory of his own.He regulated the connotation of the conception that poems revealed the aspiration,got rid of the emotional factors and introduced the Confucian search for ideal personality into the theory, which served as a link between the development of poetic theory in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Confician poetic theory in the period of Han Dynasty.He did not only raise the status of the Book of Songs,but also filled it with rites.He thought that learning the Book of Songs was to understand and practise it.The objective of his quotations from the Book of Songs was mainly to serve his own rite theory.So he was the typical Conficiaan representative to politicize the Book of Songs.
