水浒故事的来源颇多,除了王利器考证出的三种底本外,还有一个来源,那就是忠义军(原红袄军)头目李全的故事。《水浒传》中宋江的故事依据和参考了宋末、金末元初时期李全的事迹。宋江与李全的相关性主要表现在忠义(军)、忠义粮、水浒寨、节度使、排行第三、朝廷负人、红袄、楚州等方面。

One of the sources of the Outlaws of the Marsh is the s tory of Li Quan who was the head of Red-jacket Army.Song Jiang and Li Quan had several things in common: the Loyal Army,the provisions for the Loyal Army;the forts at the water margin;the military governorship;the third in the brotherh ood;the royal court plotted against him;the red-jacket;and Chu Zhou etc.
