摘要(Abstract)：

二十世纪西方文学研究领域,各种批评理论层出不穷,极大丰富并加强了文学批评实践的发展和繁荣,乔叟研究也与时俱进,学者们尝试运用不同的批评理论,如英美新批评理论、女性主义批评理论、后结构主义批评理论、巴赫金的复调诗学理论以及文化研究的批评视角等来解读诠释乔叟的作品,尤其是其代表作《坎特伯雷故事》。本文试图对二十世纪英美学界在不同批评视域对《坎特伯雷故事》的研究进行梳理和概述。
